Software and hardware complex for light control via DMX Protocol.

FARA is
The complex is designed for automatic, automated and manual control lighting equipment on stage and dance floors, in theaters, concert halls, houses of culture, Assembly halls of schools, cafes and restaurants, in color music fountains, advertising stands with dynamic lighting, automatic control of decorative lighting of Christmas trees and the areas in front of them, as well as the illumination of buildings
4096 DMX Addresses

The number of DMX addresses is practically unlimited, but: The FARA address space is 4096 DMX addresses (these are 8 universes). USB-DMX controllers are assigned to any start address of the universes and can issue a specified number of addresses in DMX (no more than 512 per universes).

Any number of controllers can be connected to the computer at the same time (limited by the performance of the USB host controller).

When using Art-Net converters, the number of universes cannot be more than 32767 in one network, but the number of networks is not limited. A large selection of controllers allows you to cover the entire DMX address space.

Any number of DMX universes
If there are not enough addresses, just install FARA. Cascading allows you to create a system with an unlimited number of channels. For cascade connection, controllers of the "B" or "E" series are used. As a master, you can use a light console, a device with an Art Net or MIDI output, or a FARA Dmx Access of any series. It is possible to increase the number of channels in an existing system.
Powerful, convenient tools for the designer of the light
Select the desired sample generator, turn on the necessary lighting devices, adjust the parameters of the sample. The finished sample must be saved to a file and can be run on any panel.

Each sample creates its own group of devices, so it is more convenient for each device to have its own address in the FARA. Combine prepared samples in the script you can use the sample "Scene" or program in Basic, or simply copy the desired samples to a new folder and run the wizard to create a new QUE sheet.

Moving head as controllable followspot
The possibility of simultaneous positioning by several scanners or heads allows the devices to be used as light cannons

Tuning the instruments to the site is possible both directly and indirectly - when only one sample is configured, and the rest use the settings from this sample.

In addition to adjusting the pan and tilt, you can also adjust the height.

It is possible to bind the effects of instruments (Focus, Zoom, Iris) to positions on a configurable platform.

Three operating panels for operational control

Switching between the main, working panels is performed by the crossfader at the bottom of the main program window. The crossfader can be moved with the mouse, cursor keys, BASIC script, or the crossfader move button, then it will move itself. Crossfader travel time and switching type are set for each panel.

Another panel is intended for loading control samples, the state of which should not depend on the crossfader. For example Dimmer or Shutter channels for spotlights. In BASIC this panel is called Single, all commands are available for it as well as for the Left or Right panels.

Customizable operator interface
The wide range of settings of the operator interface allows you to control the light even to an untrained operator.

You can make the interface based on the MENU or Playlist (QUE), can be issued as an analog light remote, you can use hotkeys, you can control from MIDI devices, you can control from another computer or remote via interfaces - Art NET, Fara remote, DMX.Can be done completely automatic control that does not require the presence of the operator, FARA will respond to music, the quality of the sound (speech, music), the dynamics of the music, time. You can program any program to turn on, for example, FARA can run WINAMP with the specified playlist at the specified time.

It is possible to make control from "Smart Home" systems or other industrial controllers.

Address names are used instead of DMX addresses
Fara uses instrument names and DMX address names, which makes it easy to change instrument addresses or their type, and it will not affect the samples in any way. FARA does not use the physical DMX addresses if it is clearly not the force, but only the names of locations. You can replace the device with another set the name of the device and the names of the main addresses is the same as the old one, and FARA will find the addresses with the names it needs and will lend the execution of programs as if there were no replacements. The names of the devices are specified in the librarian included in the kit, called in the Menu-Utilities-Librarian. Indirect danger - it is impossible to change names of devices and addresses, it is necessary to rewrite samples.
you cannot Use the same DMX name in the same fixture.
Professional automatic digital light show
Using samples "Spectrum Analyzer", "Frequency", "Level Meter" it is possible to create a very vivid, dynamic light pattern responsive to the music. In addition, in any sample, you can make a reaction to the volume of music or to the volume level in any frequency band of the spectrum analyzer.
Universal remote control
FARA can be controlled simultaneously from different devices: Smartphones, Tablets, MIDI controllers and keys, industrial touch displays and controllers, Internet page, DMX consoles via DMX interface or Art-Net. Remote control is for Linux. Fara's response to all these devices is determined by the basic program and is limited only by the programmer's capabilities.

Multiple crew members can operate the control program simultaneously.

Scene and program generators
Immediately after filling in the address table, you can use the wizard to create light control programs. This allows you to turn on the light almost immediately after determining the addresses.
Multilanguage interface
The program supports a multilingual interface. Currently, the translation into English and German has been completed.

The program is written in the LAZARUS programming environment and is distributed free of charge, "as is", and does not provide any warranty, Express or implied. The full license text can be found in the program folder.

You need to install the program updates yourself, for this you need to download the latest version of FaraLighInstaller and install it on your computer. During installation, the installer will warn you about the possibility of updating the version.

Controllers

Controller C-256 - the most convenient model in cases where the number of addresses is not more than 100, and the number of devices is not more than 20, such as color music fountains, cafes, discos, scenes of school Assembly halls, small houses of culture and cultural centers.

Technical characteristics of the controller:

The B-512 controller uses the entire address space of the DMX interface. Additionally, it has a built-in DMX Splitter for 2 channels and a DMX input for headlight control. You can use a cascading inclusion scheme to increase the number of DMX addresses.

The B-1536 controller generates three streams of DMX512, as a result the total maximum number of addresses is 1536. In addition it is built in the ability to switch the third output to the DMX reception mode to control the FARA. In this mode the number of DMX addresses is 1024. You can use a cascading inclusion scheme to increase the number of DMX addresses.

Technical characteristics of the controller:
